Nancy is a fourth grader who made her debut in the episode "Arthur's Eyes".

She is a background character and is usually seen in various places at Lakewood and around Elwood City. She gets along well with the other kids at school.

She has only spoken once in "Best Wishes".

She was also in the same kindergarten class as both Prunella and Brain, which was revealed during the episode Brain's Shocking Secret. She is often seen with her best friend Helen, who are always together either at school or outside of school.

Physical appearance

Nancy is a rabbit with a cream complexion. She has blonde hair and wears a pink shirt, a light blue shorts, short pink socks, and light pink and white sneakers.

Nancy had a yellow colored backpack, but later on in the series it changed to blue colored. In Kindergarten she wore a red and white striped shirt, long red pants, and brown shoes. In the episode Arthur and the Real Mr. Ratburn she wore a pink shirt, pink shorts, purple socks, and red and white sneakers.

Looking at how the school got new uniforms in the episode The Pride of Lakewood it's unlikely she still uses the same one she wore in this episode.

In the Winter she wears long light pink colored pants, a dark pink coat, a white hat, brown shoes, and light blue mittens, which was first seen in the episode Arthur's Snow Biz.

• Nancy had Mrs. Fink during the third grade as seen in the episode Arthur and the Real Mr. Ratburn.
• In the episode Do You Believe in Magic, she was seen in Mr. Ratburn's class for some unknown reason. The same has happened with other fourth graders in past episodes including Prunella.
• There is a chance she met her friend Helen at either in Kindergarten or even at the Elwood City Preschool at some point in the past.
• Nancy is a fan of Henry Skreever.
• Even though she has never spoken she, Helen, and an unidentified third grader can be heard laughing at the information D.W. gave them on Arthur during the episode D.W.'s Imaginary Friend.
  • In the same episode according to what Arthur states Nancy is D.W.'s friend, which is kind of strange due to the age factor of both characters.
• She and Slink sit next to each other on a couch in Meet Binky. This could mean that they are siblings.
• She is in the same fourth Grade class as Prunella.
• Her surname could possibly be Simard.
