Kenny[1] is a third grader who made his first appearance in the episode "Arthur's Eyes". Not much is known about Kenny, but it can be assumed he is generally a nice kid.
When answering questions he does get a little nervous though. His name was revealed in the episode "And Now Let's Talk to Some Kids" when his teacher, Mrs. Fink, called on him to answer a question, which he does successfully and the entire class gets rewarded with cookies.
He plays the violin, as shown in "Arthur and the Crunch Cereal Contest". He once asked Mrs. Fink what to do in a rhyming assignment if they could only think of one word that rhymes.
In the episode "Bully for Binky" it is shown that he was in Ms. Morgan's preschool class along with the other major characters and with the exception of clothes his appearance then is mostly the same now.
Physical appearance
Kenny is an aardvark with a brown complexion. He wears long light blue jeans, a light blue collared jacket with no buttons, a black colored shirt underneath his jacket, and brown shoes.
He also has an Afro with his hair color being black. He wore light blue swim trunks in the episode "D.W.'s Backpack Mishap".
Trivia
- In "Arthur Plays the Blues" it's safe to assume he tried playing the piano, but got "fired" by Dr. Fugue, most likely for poor performance, to which Kenny was delighted.
- He only spoke in the episodes Arthur Writes a Story, Arthur's Substitute Teacher Trouble, and Arthur Plays the Blues.
