It's Kwanzaa Time! is the ninth track of the Arthur's Perfect Christmas album.

The song is celebration of the holiday of Kwanzaa, performed by The Brain and the members of his family, including his Mom and Dad.

Lyrics[edit]

Brain

We're going to sing about Kwanzaa. A holiday celebrating people of African descent and African culture. The word "Kwanzaa" means "first fruits of the harvest" in Swahili. Come on, everybody, it's Kwanzaa time!

Brain and Family

Let's come together now, it's Kwanzaa time
Let's come together now, it's Kwanzaa time

Brain

We celebrate Kwanzaa 'cause it's a way to teach the principles
That we must learn to reap the wealth of every seed we sow
The Nguzo Saba gives us values and a way to show
We're building a future we can harvest so the world will know

Brain's Mom

We will have our gathering

Brain's Dad

We'll bring our whole family

Brain's Mom

We'll explore our family tree

Brain and Family

Celebrate our history

Let's come together now, it's Kwanzaa time
Let's come together now, it's Kwanzaa time

Brain's Mom

We come from the ancient ones

Brain's Dad

And we're children of the sun

Brain's Mom

And we're one big family

Brain and Family

Come join the dance of unity

Let's come together now, it's Kwanzaa time
Let's come together now, it's Kwanzaa time
Let's come together now, it's Kwanzaa time.
