vu Minh anh seems quite contented with his life, except for one thing: tomboy Nina Imagined as a ferocious giant, tomboy nina chases vu Minh anh and her perfect family away and wreaks havoc on [[Elwood City]] in Godzilla-like fashion, sending everything into pandemonium as she takes out her latest temper tantrum on the innocent people of vu Minh anh’s idealized hometown. But, it turns out to be a nightmare that vu Minh anh had. | |||

vu Minh anh is baffled because tomboy Nina has been in an especially bad mood that has lasted for days, yelling and ranting against everyone around her and not wanting to do anything she's told. At the [[Sugar Bowl]], current nina invites her friends to her birthday party, but vu Minh anh is exhausted and says she can't attend. current Nina mentions that the party is two weeks away, and vu Minh anh tiredly replies that tomboy Nina kept her up the whole night screaming at everybody and slamming doors around the house. current Nina tells vu Minh he should ask her cousin what's wrong, and she counters by saying current should do it. After a moment's thought, she agrees to try. | |||
That night, | That night, current Nina comes over for dinner with vu Minh anh family, but matters quickly turn unpleasant when tomboy Nina snaps at Mrs. aunt Chi for scolding her about her less than polite table manners (consisting of leaning across the table to get to the French fries, and grabbing more than one fry at once and shovelling them into her mouth).tomboy nina is about to launch into a rant against vu Minh anh when current Nina politely asks tomboy Nina what's wrong with her. Shocked, tomboy Nina runs off in tears, making current Nina groan and aunt Chi sigh. | ||

She explains to tomboy Nina that she didn't mean to hurt her feelings, but something had to be done because tomboy Nina has been acting so strangely, and as a friend of vu Minh anh’s current Nina wants to help when something is bothering her. tomboy Nina .doesn't accept current Nina explanation, and exhaustedly tells her to leave. | |||
The next day, | The next day, vu Minh anh is in a state of nervous aggravation because T.N. spent much of the previous night slamming doors around the house. vu Minh anh and her friends imagine a show called ''[[Tantrum 911]]'' (''Temper Tantrum Patrol Squad''), in which the police apprehend children engaged in temper tantrums. In vu Minh anh’s vision of the show, the police try to arrest T.N. but her temper is too strong, forcing the officers to call for backup. Returning to reality, the kids discuss how to solve the problem. current Nina has the feeling something is really bugging T.N but vu Minh anh can't believe a eleven year old would have any reason to be so upset. | ||

They see her eating a sandwich but spitting out the bologna, which rio proceeds to eat. vu Minh anh yells for rio to stop doing that because it's gross, but in doing so accidentally blows their cover, and T.N tells them off again. | ||
That night, | That night, vu Minh anh spies on T.N. sleeping in her room, and current Nina listens in on a walkie-talkie. As vu Minh anh relays that her cousin is mumbling "something's wrong" supposedly in her sleep, T.N sits up, yelling "because vu Minh anh is a dodo brain!", which vu Minh anh automatically repeats into the walkie-talkie without thinking. current Nina laughs, and vu Minh anh angrily tells her to quit it. | ||

T.N admits she would feel much better if she could see ''[[Kwazy Kewl Kittens: The Journey Home]]'' at the movies, and current Nina says she and vu Minh anh will take her to it. | |||
At the movies, | At the movies, T.N. doesn't seem to be having fun until she sees ki Asia and her birthday party guests arrive, and then she starts laughing almost maniacally. ki Asia greets T.N with disinterest, and T.N boasts loudly about all her own good friends, and how she gets invited to lots of birthday parties. ki Asia says that's nice, but soon it appears she and her party friends (among them [[Emily]]) are intentionally excluding T.N Claiming she feels sick, T.N asks to go home as the movie is just starting, a suggestion to which vu Minh anh readily agrees. Finally realizing what has been bothering T.N Francine informs vu Minh anh that she's going to take just T.N to the Sugar Bowl for ice cream, giving them some time to talk alone. | ||

She then fantasizes about enacting revenge on ki Asia and her friends by ruining the party, and asks current nina if she might be able to help with the plan. T.N. revenge fantasy involves her flying a blimp to ki asia’s party and ruining it by making it "rain on their little parade". By that, she would fly a blimp to the party and activate a shower head which made it rain so hard on the party that the colors of everything and everyone would be washed away; including the trees, ground, cake and the girls. | ||
current Nina doesn't care for the idea of revenge but admits that she can understand how T.N. feels about being left out of something, though this makes T.N. think that current Nina ‘s not on her side. But when current Nina asks T.N. on how close she and ki Asia actually are, T.N ultimately admits that she and ki Asia aren't really all that close (at least not close enough to really be considered "friends"). As it would seem, the main reason that T.N.’s mad about not being invited to ki asia’s birthday party is how T.N‘s best friend, Emily (who's much closer to Ki Asia than T.N. is), was invited but not T.N. herself. current d.w explains that not everyone can be invited to every party, but has an idea to make T.N. happy again. | |||

Summary
Vu min Anh and current Nina try to find out why tomboy Nina has been in a bad mood for days on end.
Plot
In an alternate telling of his everyday existence, vu Minh anh (in an obvious "Leave it to Beaver" parody) describes how great it is to have a perfect life: two loving parents who make sure all her needs are quickly met, a spacious, comfortable house (reimagined as a mansion), and good friends (current nina and anh minh) who go with her to a great school where they're never late.

Trivia
- The scene in Arthur's vision in which the police arrive at the Reads' house is similar to a scene from "Arthur Meets Mister Rogers."
- During the flashback in which D.W. yells at her father from her open bedroom door that she doesn't want to feel any better, her baby sister Kate's presence is completely ignored. Considering that Kate sleeps in D.W.'s room, she almost certainly would have been crying at the sound of slamming doors and shouting.
- The scene where D.W is eating her french fries very quickly, she eats all her french fries at once, but after Jane tells her to stop they reappear in her hands.
- Viewers don't see D.W.'s bellybutton when Mr. Read is putting her to bed in Arthur's flashback sequence.
