Arthur's Big App is a multi-level game app inspired by the TV series Arthur. It is designed for children ages 6-11 and focuses on friendship, teamwork and helping others. Kids can explore Elwood City and interact with their favorite Arthur characters.
The app was first unveiled on August 29, 2014, at the Boston Games Forum Demo Night at the Microsoft Center in Cambridge, MA.[3]

- "School’s out at Lakewood Elementary School and that means it's time for an after school adventure! Join Arthur, Buster, Francine, and Muffy in a series of mini-games set all around Elwood City!"[1]

- A freeze tag game in which kids “freeze” ARTHUR characters – a fun, digital twist on a classic playground game
Gameplay
The player is given a mini-game at random. When a mini-game is won, the app levels up and becomes more difficult. If a mini-game is lost, the player loses one of five lucky pencils. When the player wins five mini-games without losing all five lucky pencils, they unlock a character.
