Arthur, Clean Your Room! is a 1999 Step-Into-Reading book.

Plot[edit]

When Arthur cannot find a Bionic Bunny toy, Jane makes him clean his room. She and D.W. encourage Arthur to have a garage sale. D.W. helps Arthur carry out his boxes, and Buster arrives at the garage sale. He agrees to trade Arthur his Bionic Bunny Spy Glasses for the Bionic Bunny Jet Fighter. Francine arrives with Cool Cat comics and trades them to Arthur for a World Cup Soccer Game. Binky, Muffy, Brain, Sue Ellen, Prunella, and Fern all arrive with items that they trade to Arthur. Arthur is happy that he got rid of his old belongings, but D.W. realizes that he will be in trouble for having all sorts of new stuff and makes a plan with him.

Arthur and Jane go upstairs to Arthur's room, which is clean. They hear a crash from D.W.'s room and see all of Arthur's new belongings, which Arthur "rented" to D.W. to keep in there for him. Arthur trades her a toy instead of paying.
