Hey there! I am an Arthur Wiki admin. Leave a message on my wall if you need help with anything!

I have started a review series and am currently on Season 11. I also review the many online games. See my reviews here.

I upload high-quality galleries.

I currently plan to do the following galleries:

My favorite episode of each season

Note: Opinions are subject to change.

  1. Arthur and the Real Mr. Ratburn. I really like the moral.
  2. Night Fright. Funny, relatable, and some great animation.
  3. Arthur's Almost Live Not Real Music Festival. It features a bunch of awesome songs. My favorite song is Homework. They're all good except Leftovers Goulash.
  4. The Contest. It's really funny and the animation is amazing.
  5. The World Record. Stupid? Yes. Unrealistic? Yes. Overused plot? Yes. Good episode? Yes. For some reason I can't explain, I just enjoy this episode.
  6. Rhyme for Your Life. There are lots of things I like about this one, like how Binky is trying to do something nice for his mother, and not just something selfish for himself. The rhymes are amusing, and I like the fourth wall break at the beginning. The only real downsides to this episode is that I think the very ending was stupid, and there are a few "half-rhymes," like "Brain" and "name." Still, this is one of my favorite episodes of the show.
  7. Waiting to Go. It's an episode about waiting, and it's surprisingly not boring. This is one of the episodes that I remember really well for some reason.
  8. Desk Wars. I love how the tension slowly builds up until it climaxes in a hilarious montage. This episode clearly tries to be more funny than educational, but it succeeds.
  9. Breezy Listening Blues. I like a lot of the scenes in this episode, like when Brain imagines himself as Buster, his dream, the part where everybody changes the music in the shop, and Mr. Ratburn looking at the viewers.
  10. Do You Speak George? This is another one of those episodes that is really memorable to me. "Kthan uyo!" has got to be one of my favorite Arthur lines of all time. This episode is funny and very creative.
    • Operation: D.W.! This episode is For Whom the Bell Tolls done right. It talks about a serious issue without getting too scary, and I think it'd be helpful for kids going through the same thing as D.W.
  11. The Making of Arthur. It's funny, I like all the different movie ideas, and it gets super meta towards the end. There are lots of great parts, like Buster's overdramatic narration, Arthur's stop-motion cooking video, Muffy the Umpire Slayer, and This Old Doll House.
  12. The Blackout. The Molinas tend to get the best episodes, and this is no exception. I like this episode's atmosphere, and it's overall just a pleasant viewing experience.
  13. Fernlets by Fern. Incredibly underrated. This episode has lots of great moments. Fern's birthday haiku, the Binklets by Binky, "Refrigerator, cats ride pickle gloves, happy graduation," and "Solstice, solstice, what rhymes with solstice?"
  14. The Long Road Home is one of my favorite episodes of the series. I like how George is walking to raise money for autism research, the way that the El Boomerang arc is resolved by having Alberto receive it as a birthday present, and the return of Adil. I really like the moment where George finally arrives back to Elwood City; it makes me feel really happy and it's a very satisfying conclusion.
    • The Agent of Change. This is a great episode in every aspect. The animation is very pleasing to look at, the comedy is on point, and the plot is interesting. However, I do have one problem. There's no conflict to the episode. They try to introduce one near the end, but it's solved in less than a minute.
  15. Fifteen. Arthur's double-length episodes tend to be pretty great, and this is no exception. The subplots are handled well, there are good jokes, and the episode keeps my attention throughout the whole thing.
  16. The Last Tough Customer. Oh, man. This episode. I don't want to spoil anything, so go watch it for yourself, alright?
  17. Buster Bombs. I like the watermelon scene, the part with the pies, and Mrs. MacGrady's role in the episode. It's not the best episode ever, but it's the strongest one in the season.
  18. The Substitute Arthur is a hidden gem in Season 18. It teaches a good moral, features lots of main characters, and has some funny moments. I used to not like it that much, but upon rewatch, it's a lot better than I thought it was. The only thing I didn't like was that the beginning was kind of long.
  19. Spar for the Course is really creative. The different holes were interesting, and although the ending is predictable, it was cool how it all fit together. The only thing I didn't like was that Mr. Shank was annoying.
  20. Prunella's Tent of Portent. Prunella episodes in general are a mixed bag. Some are good, but some I have no desire to rewatch. Prunella's Tent of Portent is a good Prunella episode. It's an interesting episode, although it's not as good once you know the ending.
  21. Take a Hike, Molly. The backgrounds are nice to look at, there are some funny scenes, and characters are handled very well.
  22. Truth or Poll. The polls in this episode are interesting and it's pretty funny.
  23. Fright Night. This episode isn't outright good, but it's the best of its incredibly short season.

My least favorite episode of each season

  1. Arthur's Lost Dog. It's Idiot Central over here! Everyone has the IQ of a watermelon, excluding Pal, who has superpowers or something. Unfunny, stupid, and annoying all in one.
  2. D.W., the Picky Eater. I'd explain why I hate this one, but I feel like enough people have already talked about it.
  3. Francine and the Feline. Arthur is a big jerk.
  4. That's a Baby Show! "If you like something that's meant for people younger than you, you'll be mocked by your friends! Ha ha, you're such a baby for enjoying stuff that you're "too old" for!" Yeah, this moral makes no sense. It's a bad thing to be telling kids in a kids' show, because then you lose viewers by people following this moral.
  5. Sleep No More. The concept of a pizza land was really cool and they could have done a lot with it. Nope, Buster sits in a generic hotel room the whole time! The fact that it's a pizza land is barely relevant to most of the episode! The rest of the episode, after Buster gives up trying to sleep, is completely nonsensical. The episode even pulls a "here we go again" twist at the end! To this episode's credit, there were a few good jokes, but it's still not very good.
  6. For Whom the Bell Tolls. It’s a real shame that Rhyme for Your Life got paired with this. This episode right here is my second least favorite, right below Cast Away. Arthur is rude and inconsiderate, Jane is ignorant, and why was D.W. faking anyways? Was she even faking? Francine was right, Arthur was "M-E-A-N, mean!"
    • Crushed. This episode is really disturbing.
  7. Cast Away. Another "D.W. messes everything up and it's not funny" episode. The only good thing is that Arthur, D.W., and David end up seeing the whale, which saves this from being the second-worst.
  8. Arthur's Snow Biz. You know what's not original, funny, or entertaining? The generic "I'm not your friend anymore" plot. It's just about Arthur and Buster trying to make more money than each other, which doesn't really make much sense.
    • Tales from the Crib. This episode is the absolute definition of pointless. It's not helpful at all to kids going through what Vicita is because there are so many creepy scenes. If I saw this episode when I was three years old, I'd be terrified!
  9. Buster the Myth Maker. Fat-free, sugarless, no high-fructose corn syrup, 100% juice, no GMO, no artificial colors, flavorless boredom. This episode is absolute nothing. The only thing I can remember about it is the random healthy eating moral at the end.
    • The "🅰️" Team. I couldn't resist putting that 🅰️ there. And would you believe me if I told you that this review is indefinitely more exciting than the episode itself? The "🅰️" Team is boring, accomplishes nothing, and isn't funny.
  10. Arthur Changes Gears. Would you like it if I insisted that "Rhyme for Your Life is NOT just an episode. Rhyme for Your Life an eleven-minute stream of pure hilarity, creativity, and greatness. Rhyme for Your Life is the best eleven-minute episode ever produced," and told you that every time you even mentioned Rhyme for Your Life? Replace "Rhyme for Your Life" with "GX Trailblazer 10,000" and you get this episode.
    • Fern and Persimmony Glitchet. Why did they reference A Series of Unfortunate Events of all things? Don't get me wrong, I like the series, but why? Anyways, I don't agree with this episode's moral. It seems to just say "stories need to be dark and have bad things happening to be good." This moral doesn't even apply to any of the show's episodes!
  11. Buenas Noches, Vicita. It's super boring and not memorable in the slightest. If Vicita wants to sleep, she should try watching this episode.
  12. Ungifted's plot is all over the place. The episode isn't interesting, and there isn't any humor. The Tibbles are only in the episode to make the previous three minutes all for nothing.
  13. No Acting, Please. I don't really dislike this one, but it's definitely the weakest of the season. It's boring and unmemorable.
  14. Pet Projects. I think the key to a good "animal talk" episode is to have multiple characters. The ones that feature returning characters like Amigo, Mei Lin, Killer, or even new ones like Mr. Toad and Dr. Yowl tend to be the better ones of the group. Pet Projects is just Pal and Nemo making fun of each other, and Arthur and Francine's parts aren't that good.
    • In My Africa. This episode was clearly a backdoor pilot for a spin-off show which never got produced. It even has D.W. and Cheikh talk about having their own show. Besides that, I'm not kidding when I say that half of this episode is that stupid Africa song. They sing it three times at different parts of the episode. It's not even visually interesting, because it's just a still image of Africa with wavy text and occasional live-action cuts! Was the animation budget cut or something?
  15. Buster's Garden of Grief. The episode is incredibly depressing, downbeat, and has a feel of general hopelessness. That's not what I come to Arthur to see.
    • Best Enemies. This episode's existence confuses me. We meet an entire family of one-off characters and it partly takes place in a one-off location. I was convinced that this episode was just a dream for quite a while because it's just so odd! And despite how odd it is, I can't remember anything else about it! It's weird and forgettable at the same time!
  16. So Funny I Forgot to Laugh. I shouldn't need to elaborate. You don't like this one either.
  17. Dog's Best Friend. Pal and Nemo are unlikable and the plot is incredibly generic and overused. I'd watch Pet Peeved if I wanted a "pet being taken care of by a different owner" episode, or Baby Steps if I want an animal talk episode.
  18. The Pageant Pickle. Oh boy. This episode right here is the absolute worst episode of Arthur. Worse than Cast Away, and worse than For Whom the Bell Tolls. This episode is incredibly annoying and features Arthur, D.W., and their dad at their worst. Can you imagine being one of the writers or storyboard artists for this episode? You'd have to wake up every day knowing that you created this absolute abomination that was aired on live television.
  19. Besties. This episode seems like it's trying really hard to have a moral, but I can't figure out what it is. Well, then it clearly didn't do its job. I hate Arthur in this episode. He's incredibly unlikable and out-of-character. I don't like how he starts acting like a hypocrite at the end, either. It's a bad ending to an already bad episode and it's a terrible lesson to teach children. However, I do like this episode's song.
  20. The Hallway Minotaur. Everybody is out-of-character and unlikable in this episode.
  21. The Lost Dinosaur. Unmemorable and uninteresting. Platy is annoying and not funny. Still, I'd watch this over something like Besties or Arthur Changes Gears. It's not outright bad, just kind of weak.
  22. The Longest Eleven Minutes. Technology bad. Caveman times good. Camera bad. Birds good. Wikipedia bad. Encyclopedia good. The fact that the first shot in this episode is playground equipment covered in cobwebs is a pretty good indicator of how boomer rant-y this episode is.
  23. D.W. and Dr. Whosit. I was appalled at this episode when I first saw it. It's such a bad moral and the execution is horrible. I left a comment explaining in-depth why I dislike this one. It's probably one of my least favorites of the series.
