Arthur Babysits is the sixteenth book in the Arthur Adventure series. It was written and illustrated by Marc Brown and published by Little, Brown and Company on October 1, 1992. It became adapted into a cartoon segment as the first half of Episode 9 of Season 1 in 1996.

- This book is the first appearance of the Tibble Twins, Tommy and Timmy Tibble, who are the grandsons of Mrs. Tibble. The Tibbles were humans in the book, although the cartoon show changed their appearances to bears, since the series usually depicted animals in different species with most of them being humanoid, although in later books, they are still humans.
