Trivia[edit]
- As this book is the starting point of the book franchise, all the characters' designs look different from their more commonly-seen designs.
- This book was never adapted into a cartoon, because Arthur had long already been in his final design when the show debuted— meaning his nose is already so short that an episode based on this book would not fit in the show.
- As a result, the premiere episode of the cartoon series would be based on the next book instead.
