Lakewood Elementary School is a public elementary school founded in the 1950's[1] that Arthur and his friends attend., It is one of 15 schools in Elwood City.[2] In April 9th the school was destroyed in a fire that caused by faulty electrical wiring, sending all the students to their rival school, Mighty Mountain. It was later restored, sending its students back there.

- In some of the episodes, some of the third grade students outside of Mr. Ratburn's class appear to be switched between Miss Sweetwater's and Mrs. Fink's classes and vice-versa.
- One of the unidentified students name John appeared again in the episode The Long Road Home. John had apprently sponsered George in the episode, but John for some reason isn't seen in the episode.
