List of Title Cards

Every episode of Arthur has an intertitle which displays the title, the name(s) of the writer and storyboard editor, and a short animation encompassed within a center circle. With the exception of early episodes, the title is read aloud by either Binky, Buster, Francine, or Muffy. After Season 1, the typeface for episode titles was modified. The titles names were enlarged starting with Season 10. Starting with Season 14, the center circle now features a scene from each episode.

Arthur Underwater

The center circle is full of water. We see fish swim by, followed by Pal, followed by Arthur. He says "Hi!". Sonar noises are audible in the background.

Francine Hits Gong

Francine walks up and hits the center circle with a banging noise similar to a gong. This causes Arthur to yelp and begin shaking.

Arthur's Umbrella

Arthur does a Ta-da! pose, but it starts to rain. Arthur rumages through a rubber duck, spaghetti strainer, and bike horn before finding an umbrella, which he promptly uses.

Buster makes sounds

Buster walks into the circle and roars, burps, trumpets, or much more for most title cards. After he does, Arthur walks up beside him and laughs.

Buster and the Magnifying glass

Buster is looking to the central circle, thinking what it is. Going behind it, Bluster increase his mouth, giving a "Hi!" to the watchers.

Hot Air Balloon

Arthur, Buster, David Read, Francine, and Muffy go up in a hot air balloon.

Arthur Playing Roulette

Arthur take down a lever and make the correct picture of Muffy's face. This title card was introduced in Season 5.

Brain Underwater

The same version than Arthur Underwater, but Arthur is replaced by Brain and Pal is replaced by a unknown dog.

Big Bird Foot

Arthur, Buster, Brain and Francine break the central circle, seeing a big foot of a bird, what do all run out of screen.

Family Photo

The Read family are taking a family photo. So, Kate starts to cry, the photo is taken and is very bad.

Prunella See the Future

Prunella is how fortune teller, saying: "now, you will see", suddlenty the image stop, when is related the episode's name. This title card was introduced in Season 4.

D.W. Chases the Frog

D.W.'s pet toad Toady is being chased by Pal and DW with a newspaper to which D.W. screams Wait! Come back!. Toady flees back and DW grab him happily.

Arthur and Super D.W.

Arthur is in central circle, when D.W. dressed like a super-heroin appears, doing Arthur to spin, and shouts "Ta-da!". In Season 1, Bionic Bunny can be heard saying "Faster and more annoying than a mosquito...is SUPER SISTER!!", but that quotation was removed after Season 1.

Fairy D.W.

D.W. is hanging in a rope, when use her wand to do Arthur appears in central circle, making he happy, but D.W. transform his face in a frog head.
