"Dancing Fools" is the second half of the sixth episode in the eleventh season of Arthur.

Summary

Mrs. Molina is a teaching a dance class for kids, and it creates the opportunity for some unlikely dance pairings: Muffy and Binky, D.W. and the Tibbles, and, most unlikely of all, Francine and George. Will anyone survive the class?

Plot

At tha start of tha episode, we peep Arthur n' his crew attendin tha Elwood Citizzle dizzle competition. I aint talkin' bout chicken n' gravy biatch fo' realz. Arthur narrates dat two playas can do thangs betta than one can. I aint talkin' bout chicken n' gravy biatch. Backstage, we peep two figures preparin ta go onstage. Da two strutt onstage n' is revealed ta be Francine n' George. They smile all up in tha crowd.

Several months earlier, Francine be attendin school when Muffy strutts up n' declares dat dat freaky freaky biatch has signed both of dem up fo' dizzle class. Francine don't wanna go at first but Muffy say she owes her, plus she'll git dem hockey tickets, n' you can put dat on yo' toast. Francine agrees fo' realz. Afta school, they visit tha dizzle class where they is split up in pairs. Muffy gets Otis, while Francine gets George. D.W., up in tha background, tries ta grind wit tha Tibble Twins yo, but they keep steppin on her toes. Francine n' George start ta git betta while Muffy n' Otis git worse.

Da next dizzle at school, Arthur mentions dat D.W. holla'd at his ass dat her big-ass booty saw Francine n' George up in class. George shyly runs away while Busta begins ta tease Francine. Francine threatens his ass until her ass is distracted by Muffy whoz ass say they is ghon be returnin ta ride dirty class dat day. It make me wanna hollar playa! In tha playground, Binky asks George what tha fuck he hustled up in dizzle class yo, but George suggests dat Binky joins tha class his dirty ass. Lata at dizzle class, Muffy pairs up wit George but dat schmoooove muthafucka wack wit Muffy. Meanwhile, Francine is paired up wit tha newly joined Binky, whoz ass refuses ta cooperate. Francine n' George eventually git paired up again, n' soon become tha dopest of they class.

Weeks later, Mrs. Molina announces dat tha annual Fred n' Ginger dizzle awardz is comin up n' dat thugged-out biiiatch chizzle George n' Francine over Binky n' Muffy ta represent tha school. Muffy runs outside crying. Binky talks ta her n' they say shit bout how tha fuck much they jealouz of George n' Francine. They soon decizzle dat George n' Francine can't participate up in tha contest n' scheme ta break up tha couple.

Da next day, Binky lures George tha into a thugged-out dark alley where tha pimpin' muthafucka tries ta annoy George wit no thangs up in dis biatch fo' realz. At tha same time, Muffy gives Francine hockey tickets dat is on tha night of tha competizzle hopin it'll cause George n' Francine ta cancel. George n' Francine turn down tha tickets, n' continue ta practice. For two weeks Muffy n' Binky try ta git dem ta drop up wit no luck.

Finally tha night of tha Fred n' Ginger awardz arrive. Binky n' Muffy git all up in tha competizzle so they can heckle tha couple. We once again n' again n' again peep George n' Francine strutt onto stage n' smile ta tha crowd. Y'all KNOW dat shit, muthafucka! They start ta ride dirty gracefully shockin Muffy n' Binky. Francine n' George stumble costin dem some points yo, but finish perfectly. Da award however is given ta another couple n' George n' Francine git second place medals.

Muffy n' Binky apologize, n' Muffy say has signed Francine up fo' fashizzle class. Francine shouts as Muffy is driven off yo, but her frown soon turns tha fuck into a smile.

Trivia

• This is perhaps the only time in the series that George enters a competition and does not score first place.
• When Francine says she can't go to the hockey game, Muffy tells her she'll have to take Jenna, despite her hating hockey.
• This episode and The Making of Arthur premiered the same day as PBS Kids' 3 original series Super Why, Word World and Word Girl.

Episode connections

• As George is walking up to Binky in the street, there is a poster for: 'The Hiccup Kid Part 3', referencing "Arthur vs. the Piano" and referencing to what D.W. said in "Hic or Treat."
• Muffy wears an outfit similar to the one in "You Are Arthur" during the dance lessons.

Cultural references

• Binky's dance in the dark alley is a combination of Techno, Tap dance, and Break dance.

Errors

• At the start of the episode, Arthur and his family are attending the Fred and Ginger Awards, but later they are not seen in the audience. But they were seen exiting the auditorium.
• After the duo win second place, George says that he's never won anything before. However, in "To Beat or Not to Beat," he always wins the talent show just by hopping on a pogo stick and he wins many other awards.
