She also tried to help Francine after she learned that she unknowingly plagiarized an entire paper for her Thanksgiving report in "[[Francine's Pilfered Paper]]." Francine and [[Muffy Crosswire|Muffy]] had tried to pair her and [[Chip Crosswire|Chip]] together in "[[Matchmaker, Matchbreaker]]," but it's later shown that Chip and Catherine are only friends, and they both told Francine and Muffy that they have no romantic interest in each other.
