Larry could be related to the character "Harry the Bunny" from the TV show.^{[citation needed]}
D.W. previously lost a pet (Pal) on a leash in "Sick as a Dog" and "Arthur's Lost Dog".
Mrs. Tibble tells Timmy and Tommy that they have two more minutes until they have to take their baths. This is most likely a reference to the fact the Tommy is two minutes older than Timmy, which is a major plot point in some episodes.
