"Arthur Sells Out" is the first half of the second episode in the eleventh season of Arthur.

Summary

To earn the money he needs to buy a new video game, Arthur plans to sell his old toys through his school's Web site. At first, sales are slow - until Muffy helps Arthur discover how to sell the "sizzle" and not the "steak." His toys fly off the (cyber) shelf, but is bending the truth to earn money worth losing his friends?[4]

plot

da commercial fo' a new game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 be playin'. Arthur n' busta think dat they need dat shit.

busta doesn't realize how tha fuck arthur be goin' ta be able ta afford dat shit. Dude understands if the homie asks his muthafuckin' folks they gotta object n' tell his ass ta buy dat shit wit' his muthafuckin' own money. Real shit.

however, busta comes the fuck up wit' an idea. Dude takes arthur ta his muthafuckin' garage n' calls all of his muthafuckin' old toys "a gold mine". Arthur doesn't feel tha same way. Dude just thinks dat dat shit be junk, N' therez Ain't nuthin' but busta calls dat shit "merchandise". Busta suggests ta arthur dat dude sells dat shit on tha website o' tha oldschool newspaper, since they have a section fo' sellin' objects.

busta explains how tha fuck easy dat shit be, n' how tha fuck some people finna buy anythin'. Arthur goes ta his muthafuckin' garage, his muthafuckin' room, n' anywhere else wit' toys, ya dig? Afta gettin' a lot o' toys, dude be ready ta sell dat shit on da website.
*"for sale
  • lots o' old toys. If interested email ebonylover22@aol.com"

dude checks his muthafuckin' email, n' dude has nothang new. Dude checks again, nothang. Again, still nothang.

at da suger bowl, arthur, buster, n' muffy r' discussin' dat shit. Muffy thinks dat tha site doesn't have enough "pizzaz" ta dat shit n' dat shit also needs a sales pitch, branding, eye candy, etc. Arthur doesn't understand dat shit. He do be on that short bus.

so at arthurz den, muffy takes pictures o' da toys wit' her shit ass camera. Biatch takes shitload o' pictures, n' then downloads 'em onto tha internet. While makin' da website muffy be a marketin' masta. Fo' example, instead of "old" say them toys is "straight fire, no cap."

tha next day, mostly everythin' dat arthur was tryin' ta sell be sold, even tha mf-ing woogle. Muffy tells his ass dat dude needs a celebrity ta endorse da shop. This biatch teaches his ass some mo' hustlin' techniques.

however, some things don't sell, mostly tha old toys. Dude still tries ta sell 'em cuz the grind ain't never stop.
*"stuffed hippo fo' sale. Smells just like da real thang! like havin' a real live hippo without da danger".

pal brings his ass an old robotron figure wit' a broken arm. Once again dude uses false advertisin' as an attempt ta sell it  (he raps 'bout tha toy as "perfect fo' display" n' does not mention tha faulty arm). Damn, that's some shady shit! Dude also sells toy soldiers dat dude says r' large, N' therez Ain't nuthin' but dude actually just put 'em in a bigga box. On god that's devious af. D.W. rebels against dis, N' therez Ain't nuthin' but arthur thinks dat biatch just does not understand marketin'.

since tha toys won't sell online, arthur, buster, n' muffy plan ta hold a garage sale. James comes n' immediately takes interest in tha robotron figure, resultin' in arthur finally has enough money fo' tha porno game. However, afta a short while, james notices tha toyz arms fall off easily. Busta thinks dat arthur should give james his muthafuckin' money back, N' therez Ain't nuthin' but muffy says dat dude doesn't have ta as long as arthur didn't lie. Arthur doesn't know What the fuck ta do. Busta wants arthur ta give james his muthafuckin' money back, N' therez Ain't nuthin' but muffy thinks da opposite. Arthur retorts "let da buya beware". Buster, surprised n' angered by dis, leaves tha scene wit' james, n' offers ta fix his muthafuckin' robotron. Muffy then admits ta arthur dat his muthafuckin' advertisin' could be considered misleading, n' tells his ass da worst punishment be den arrest, ta arthurz dismay.

at tha gamestop, arthur be 'bout ta buy tha new porno game, N' therez Ain't nuthin' but then changes his muthafuckin' mind n' tells tha cashia dat dude just needs ta look at somethang. On da way home from da store, arthur finds james n' busta playin' "robotron arm toss", a new game dat busta made the fuck up. Dat shit turns out dat arthur didn't buy tha porno game, N' therez Ain't nuthin' but a new robotron toy fo' james instead.

at muffyz mansion, muffy bought da game "just ta peep What the fuck all da fuss was 'bout". They turn dat shit on, n' dat shit first dat shit seems wack. N' therez Ain't nuthin' but When the fuck they start tha game dat shit has poor graphics n' glitches, poor sound, a generic explora characta ratha than dark bunny, n' a game ova screen afta tha first few moments o' gameplay. Da three r' disappointed n' arthur says ta muffy "if yo' eva need someone ta sell dat shit fo' yo', don't call me." havin' peep too much, muffy throws dat shit da fuck into tha trash.

Trivia

  • When Buster and James are playing the Robotron arm toss game, the target that they are shooting at is a chalk drawing of Arthur's head.
  • Moral: Dont force someone to do something they don't want to do for your own personal benefit.
