as Arthur continues to dig and D.W. can't wait to tell everyone else that root was a big snake and just then Arthur stumbles upon something while digging and discovers an old rusty tin can that reads "Digestive Biscuits". then he continues to dig for something decent until he founded something which he thinks that bone might belong to a Saber Toothed-Tiger or a Tyrannasaurus Rex, but it turns out that this bone was just a squeaky doggy toy and belongs to Pal in which D.W. noticed. Arthur felt like everyone has found lots of stuff by now, then he imagines Binky pulling out the big head of a Sphinx in his backyard, Muffy and his caretakers finding some good diamonds in a mine and Brain using his Metal Detector looking for something unique and finds some a metal detector in his yard along with the other worn out ones. as Arthur continues digging, he thinks there nothing here and then he sees Pal digging and runs to him until D.W. tells him he's not soppose to dig in the yard. and Arthur tells D.W. he's going to watch Pal and turns that the hole was that that big and not that deep either and suggest to fix it and tells her that he's just going to dig a little until he finds the stuff that's buried back here, but D.W. wonders what kind of stuff until Arthur then imagines he discovers a secret passageway and opens it and he and Pal explored it, Arthur then grabs a torch to his major discovery he believes that it's huge and then he discovered a secret door thinking it could be some ancient temple or it could be a trap and just then he opens the it and stroke of light appears which turns to be Buster's Closet and Buster ask him if he wants a bite of his sandwich. after he stop Imagining about it, D.W. thinks Arthur that there really are secret passageways and Arthur there a lot of tunnels that go everywhere and it's worth a try and it's not just for him until he imagines again that night when his family are going to have a barbeque, until mr. Read forgot to but charcoal and the stores are all closed and mrs. read thinks they'll just cancel it until Arthur tells everyone that he'll be right back and went to the passageway and sneak into a closed Supermarket, grab some charcoal and pay it with his money at a cash register with nobody round and went back to the barbeque, mrs. Brain told Arthur they we're waiting for him back at the pond and Buster also told Arthur that he found something really big, but Arthur hasn't started yet and everyone told him they found great stuff and Arthur thought he founded a Metal Detector from his Imagine spot and so Brain founded some pennies that are not in mint condition but still they we're over 30 years old; Binky found a root that looks like a Iguana and he calls it "Anglaun" and Binky usually names all of his roots, Francine found a really old sippy cup since she thinks it's been lost for years and in good shape and Muffy founded a diamond necklace until Brain thinks it has a price tag on it, but Muffy bought it instead of finding it in her backyard and she knows that jewels do come from the ground. then Buster ask Arthur what he found which turn it to be roots and rocks lately, but then D.W. shows them the tin can to everyone and Francine thinks it's really old and Brain believes it's over 40 years old, since Muffy believe it's older than her mother is. then Buster did see that Arthur was digging around in the backyard since he begin to worry what to do and D.W. thinks he'll be in big trouble and then all of his friends pitched in to put everything back where it was and everyone got a bit dirty just until Mrs. Read came home when she was taking some groceries out of the car. then she was shocked and told Arthur what happened, then Buster believes some giant earthworms and went a little crazy but try to stop then, then Francine believes it was an army of Chipmunks since Brain thinks that Moles have Burrow in there yard and just told her that was his fault and got carried away, then he apologized to his mom and she him that she's disappointed. | ||
the very next day at school, Arthur was sitting in his desk until his friends came by and Buster tells him to come back to the pond, but Arthur got something cooler to do and grabs out a Harmonica that he found yesterday in the Garage since there's all sorts of neat stuff there. then Arthur knows that sometimes where the treasure is depends on how you look at it, and then Buster tells him you're Grounded and he has to clean the Garage all week, so Brain tells Arthur that he'll come to the pond next week but Arthur suggest Brain to make that the week after next. | |||

Summary
When Buster digs up an ancient arrowhead, everyone else wants to hunt for buried treasures, too. But how can Arthur become a famous discoverer of lost civilizations and stuff if his Mom won't let him dig up the back yard?[1]
Plot
It opens up with Arthur in the Kitchen having trouble with the blender and he tells the viewers if all of the great Scientist and Explorers did what there parents told them like Galileo from discovering one more moon of Jupiter or even Sir Isaac Newton from discovering gravity when a apple hit on his head. and if everything said that there parents said that might stop the course of discovery until Arthur's Dad doubts how Sir Isaac Newton makes a Bacon Flavored Shake with his cooking equipment and tells him to clean up this mess.
-Title Card- it opens with Arthur and his friends skipping stones by the pond until Binky throws a big rock which made everyone wet and Brain tells him to use a smaller one and then Buster came by until Binky notice another that he could throw and tells not to, and told Binky and the rest he discovered an Arrowhead while digging the ground for his mother's garden and it buired right behind his building, Muffy wonders who buried it. Brain's answer was no one that Prehistoric Tribes lived all over this area, over time rain and floods wash for the tools they used. Arthur believes there could arrowheads and other stuff buried in there own backyard and Brain tells him that all you need to do is dig.
Arthur then imagines he's digging for something in his backyard until he bumps something, which happens to be a Helmet and it was stuck to ground and dig some more, then it turn out to be from a big statue of a Roman Centurion, and Arthur then dig some more and discovered the whole ruins of the roman empire when he shouted "wow!" and then it echoed.
after that, Arthur's Mom was not worried about Ancient ruins but it's the modern ones she doesn't want to see. then Arthur tells her that all his friends dig in there yards and we're suppose to meet later what we found, then Mrs. Read sign and he will be careful around in the backyard and pleaded to her. then she agreeded and has errands to do and tells her only to dig behind the garage, but no place else since she doesn't want an excavation site for a yard until Arthur started when D.W. was looking out her bedroom window. D.W. ask him if he was buiring his report card and tells her that he was digging for Treasure which happens to be Arrowheads and Civilizations like he said until D.W. sees something and pulls it out a root that looks sorta like a snake and he felt for it even the Tibbles we're too old for that gag and there only four, Arthur tells her she was only faking and then she aks if he could trade in his dimes for a big shiny penny.
