Not to be confused with Toady, the wife of Mr. Toad.
Mr. Toad is a wild toad and the husband of Toady.[1]
Information
He first appeared in The Great Sock Mystery when he stole D.W.'s favorite pair of socks. By The Great Lint Rush he had a very large share in the Sock Market and basically controlled it. Pal, Amigo and Baby Kate tried to get socks back from him but after negotiating Pal was only able to loan a sock with an interest of 10 socks by the end of the week or else he would take control of the Reads' House.
So they made up a plan to trick Mr. Toad; they would make him think lint is worth more than socks. It worked and it also saved the Sock Market.
Relationships
Toady
It was originally stated that Toady was a friend of Mr. Toad's and that Mr. Toad knew her as a tadpole[2]. Sometime after that they get married but do not live together.[3]
Hans
A dog who rides Mr. Toady to places on his back. Mr. Toad often tells him to go faster.
