"Around the World in 11 Minutes" is the first half of the seventh episode in the fourteenth season of Arthur.

Summary

Wondering how big the world really is, Pal, Amigo, Kate, and Mei-Lin take an (imagined) trip around the world, and make a bet with Francine's cat Nemo that they can do it all in eleven minutes.

Cultural references

  • The episode's title is a play on Jules Verne's book "Around the World in 80 Days". Also, in the book, its main character, Phileas Fogg, had made a bet that he could travel around the world in eighty days.
  • Also the title is a reference to the average length of an Arthur story.
