Arthur's Tricks and Treats is a game on the Arthur page of the PBS Kids website. It was made to promote the upcoming Halloween special, Arthur and the Haunted Tree House.
Gameplay[edit]
Trick-or-treaters will come up, and the player must give them the candy they want. They will request two to four pieces at a time. The player must click the image of the candy the person requests, and drag it to them. Once they are satisfied, a new trick-or-treater will come. The candy bowls must be refilled after five candies have been given out. Occasionally, spiders will drop down, and the player must click on them to avoid scaring away the trick-or-treater. The player has three lives, and if they either let the trick-or-treater get scared, or take too long to give away candy, they will lose a life.
Characters[edit]
Most characters wear a costume they wore in a TV episode or a costume that alludes to their interests.
Amanda Hulser[edit]
Amanda wears her tiara from "The Princess Problem".
Arthur Read[edit]
Arthur wears his Frankentist costume from "Hic or Treat".
Arthur is not a trick-or-treater. He explains the game and informs you about high scores.
Binky Barnes[edit]
Binky wears a wrestler costume.
Brain (Alan Powers)[edit]
Brain wears his 14th century castle costume from "Hic or Treat".
Bud Compson[edit]
Bud wears his prince costume from "The Princess Problem".
Buster Baxter[edit]
Buster wears his Candy Boy costume from "Hic or Treat".
D.W. Read[edit]
D.W. wears her doctor costume from various episodes such as "One Ornery Critter" and "D.W.'s Baby".
Fern Walters[edit]
Fern wears a Sherlock Holmes costume.
Francine Frensky[edit]
Francine wears her "prom queen" costume from "Hic or Treat".
George Lundgren[edit]
Wally and George are dressed as Curious George and The Man with the Yellow Hat.
Ladonna Compson[edit]
Ladonna wears a spider costume.
Marina Datillo[edit]
Marina wears what appears to be wizards' robes, although they don't match the robes worn by Henry Skreever characters.
Muffy Crosswire[edit]
Muffy wears an Alice in Wonderland costume, although it's green instead of blue.
Prunella Deegan[edit]
Prunella wears her fortune teller costume.
Sue Ellen Armstrong[edit]
Sue Ellen wears her "Library Saver" superhero costume from the episode "Sue Ellen & the Last Page".
Timmy Tibble[edit]
Timmy wears his mime costume from "The Pageant Pickle".
Tommy Tibble[edit]
Tommy wears his mime costume from "The Pageant Pickle".
