The Half-Baked Sale

"The Half Baked Sale" is an episode off from season one. It first aired on February 3, 1997 with "Arthur's Almost Boring Day."

Plot

The episode opens with Arthur explaining to the audience that his grandma is great. He says that she helps when people are sick and listens to Arthur when he is telling what happened on Bionic Bunny, but that her cooking is really bad. The next day, Arthur's parents are going away on a trip to see Grandpa Dave. Arthur's mom is going throught that there doctor is Dr. Bailey but she fergot but Gradma Thora reminded her and she helped her remember she left it on the fridge she thanks her for covering for her but says she loves nothing better then taking care of them and says she is going to cook them something special Arthur ,& DW look scared then Arthur's Dad says that wouldn't be nessary becuse he left money for Fast-Food but she says that she knows she isn't as good as a cook as him but says that's becuse your a professional and says she is going to experement. The next sence she's one the phone saying she is going to help with something while she is one the phone she makes lots of mistakes with her special dinner Baby Kate even gets a sample and starts crying then Arthur & D.W. start coming up with ideas to get out of dinner they D.W. suggests they get sick but Arthur says the'll given her chicken soup but then Grandma Thora says its Dinner. At dinner Arthur & D.W. hate there dinner D.W. even tried trading with Pal but Arthur says no D.W. at she stops. Later Arthur asks if she is doing bingo she says no bingo this year im cooking Arthur and D.W.pannick and then Grandma Thora tells Arthur to make sighs. The next day Arthur asks Buster about it he says its not that bad why not tell them its not for eating its for excersize or statue Arthur says he dosent thnk it will work out then Buster says you have no choise but to tell her the truth about her cooking then Arthur says i was a afraid you would say that. The next day there shoping for food Grandma Thora is getting cookies ingretiance she picks up a tomato and Arthur asks her what she is doing she said you cant make cookies without tomato Arthur almost panked again when he heard that and she says she will earn lots of money from the bake sale with Arthur's sighs then Arthur nearly told her that she is bad at cooking but he didnt what to make her sad so he didn't well he didn't have to becuse Mrs. MacGready interrupted and helped carry her groseries home she tells arthur that the bake sale would have never happened if she didn't help out and says you must be proud of her he says yeah and then offerrs Grandma Thora help but says no becuse she already has two assistants. Inside Arthur is complaning that he should help but says she has got it undercontrol and tells her that that cooking runs in the family that her son (Arthur's dad) started to cook at age 8 (Arthur's age). Then they discusse the only thing to do is stop people from eating them so the next day he takes his money and buys all the cookies and hides them in the janitor closet but the janitor goes in and slips of the cookies and nearly breakes his leg. She tells them how did they get in there and Arthur & D.W. say they did it and tell her they didn't whant to hert hert her and she asks Mrrs MacGready if her cooking is bad she blushes and says why do you ask and she looks sad. Then Mrs. MacGready says she is too busy to cook and Arthur & D.W. say we still love you even if you are a bad cook. They go inside to clean up but find out that Buster is eating them he is officialy the only person ever to like her cookies.
