E A Depoe, the famous writer, is reading her book aloud in an old mansion, but that name is revealed as a pseudonym, alias Ms Mcword, Ed Crosswire's old teacher. The kids go to the party in costumes, Arthur Bionic Bunny, Franine a vampire and Binky a pumpkin-head monster. They decide to prank the girls with a rediculous contraption. Francine lures Arthur to the library upstairs and fails to scare him with their prank. At the concession stand, what appears to be Binky asking for a drink. Arthur shooes him to the prank spot. He goes up to the boys' prank spot, but finds it deserted. Buster and Brain come running, insisting to set up in the toddlers' playroom, and then Binky comes dressed as a cyclops, claiming he 'broke his pumpkin'. Arthur realizes that if Binky was the cyclops, somebody else was disguised as the pumpkin-head. The pumpkin-head appears and reveals it is not standing, and all the kids run away. Ed is down at the concession stand, and reprimands Muffy about pranks. The pumpkin-head was revealed to be a ghost girl in Binky's costume, and her ghost father is reprimanding her with the same words as Ed said to Muffy. The ghosts go to the concession stand where Dr Lundgren (George) compliments the ghost girl's costume. After he leaves, the ghost girl reminds her father to pull his cloak down to the ground, to make it appear that he is walking. The party goes on. Throughout the episode, a small egg-like object with a skull painted on it slides across the screen.
