Elwood City has much prominence in the Arts.
- The Elwood City Art Museum features many paintings, sculptures, and other forms of art.
- Bands such as Backstreet Boys have held concerts in Elwood City. U Stink, a band founded by Francine Frensky, had a brief but successful career that started in Elwood City.
- Loring Cinema is a popular movie theater in Elwood City that has many new movies. It is a favorite hangout spot for Arthur and his friends.
- D.W. frequents various Mary Moo Cow on Ice events with her parents at Elwood City Arena. Arthur is often dragged along reluctantly.
- In the episode Elwood City Turns 100!, Lakewood Elementary presents a musical that showcases Elwood City's History. The performance attracted many celebrities, including Michelle Kwan, Alex Lebek, Yo Yo Ma, Art Garfunkel, Mister Rogers, and Marc Brown.
