- When Arthur says, "Fortunately, no one is ever right about everything," Brain calls his sentence "poorly constructed", and says that using both "ever" and "always" is redundant. However, Arthur did not say "always" when he spoke.
- When Brain was playing baseball, the umpire called the first two pitches a "strike". Since Brain did not swing the bat, the correct term would be a "ball".
- Brain's comment to not end sentences in prepositions is archaic; ending in a preposition is perfectly fine in modern English.
