Summary
To excel in science, Mr. Ratburn's class has to prove that they have P.A.N.T.S. - the ability to be patient, attentive, nosy, thoughtful, and systematic. Arthur's certain he's got `em to ace his ant project... until the crawly creatures end up everywhere, but in their ant-farm! Can Arthur's P.A.N.T.S. save his project - and save the ants from the exterminator?
Plot
Arthur is doing a science project on ants to prove that he has PANTS by being patient, attentive, nosy, thoughtful, and systematic. However, after a minor accident in instructions, only one ant makes it into the ant farm. After he tries various ways to collect the ants by using food and a model of a queen ant, he accidentally ruins Francine's project, which involves rocks and sugar water. The sugar water attracts all the ants and the two combine their projects in the end.
