Hey there! I am a frequent Arthur Wiki editor. I enjoy adding character appearances, trivia, and episode connections.

If you find my edits constructive and helpful, please support my request for wiki rollback! It would mean a lot!

My favorite episode of each season

Note: Unfinished. Opinions are subject to change.

  1. I'm a Poet. The poems are funny (my favorite is Buster's one, "These are the things that make me nauseous") and it's the episode where Fern's personality is established. Season 1 was kind of weak, but I go back to this one again and again.
  2. How the Cookie Crumbles. Banana was my idea! Without me, there's no banana! I like the soundtrack in this one, the part where Muffy tries to recreate the recipe, and the ending. Again, it's kind of weak, especially with the plothole of Muffy forgetting the recipe even though it's in the paper, but it's entertaining.
  3. Tie between I'd Rather Read It Myself and Arthur's Almost Live Not Real Music Festival. The first one is an amazing mashup of almost every episode that had aired at that point, from Crazy Bus to the snowball to Walter the Deer and even the wedding ring. Also, there's Bust-trantor's song. The second episode features a bunch of awesome songs, but it is mostly just a clip show episode. My favorite song is Homework. They're all good, but I usually go back and forth on whether or not I like Leftovers Goulash.
  4. None of the episodes in Season 4 are really good, with the exception of The Contest.
  5. I get why most fans consider this a low point for the series. None of the episodes really stand out. However, if I had to pick one, I'd chose The Shore Thing because it left me with a pleasant feeling.
  6. Rhyme for Your Life. There are lots of things I like about this one. Such as how Binky is trying to do something nice for his mother, and not just something selfish for himself. The rhymes are amusing, and I like the fourth wall break at the beginning.
  7. To Tibble the Truth. It's an episode with a "lies are bad" moral, but they do it surprisingly well. There are some good jokes.
  8. Big Horns George. I like the songs, and the guest star appearances were nice. Most of this season is otherwise unremarkable.
  9. Binky Goes Nuts is a serious topic episode, and although it creates some plotholes, it has some good jokes that prevent it from being either too sad or boring. My other choice was Breezy Listening Blues.
  10. Operation: D.W.! It's "For Whom the Bell Tolls" done right! D.W. is actually sick, Arthur is supportive, and it tells a good story.
  11. Mind Your Manners. It's a better version of My Fair Tommy, which was mediocre.
  12. Never, Never, Never is surprisingly good. There's the funny running gag of Nadine's knock knock jokes, the episode being a well-done whole plot reference, and the moment where Arthur confronts the Tibbles.
  13. Fernlets by Fern. This episode has lots of great moments. Fern's birthday haiku, the Binklets, "Refrigerator, cats ride pickle gloves, happy graduation," and "Solstice, solstice, what rhymes with solstice?" I could go on.
  14. The Long Road Home is one of my favorite episodes of the series. I like how George is walking to raise money for autism research, the way that the El Boomerang arc is resolved by having Alberto receive it as a birthday present, the return of Adil, and best of all, the moment where George finally arrives back to Elwood City. Mr. Ratburn joining George and his dad on the walk could be seen as a call-back to Best of the Nest, another outstanding episode.
  15. Season 15 is one of my least-viewed seasons. I guess I'll go with Through the Looking Glasses. It's like Arthur's Eyes, but taken in a more interesting direction.

My least favorite episode of each season

  1. Arthur Bounces Back. It promotes immoral acts (Arthur sells something without his mother's permission) and there is not a single joke I liked. Arthur was a lot more of a jerk in these early episodes.
  2. Arthur the Loser. Again, immoral acts and obnoxious behavior. My other choice would be one of the infamous D.W. episodes such as Go to Your Room, D.W. or D.W., the Picky Eater.
  3. Arthur and D.W. Clean Up. I never see anyone talk about this episode and I think I know why. It's forgettable. Did you remember it existed? I sure didn't! Anyways, this episode is just a bunch of whining and nothing really happens. I don't understand why this episode exists.
  4. D.W. Tale Spins, where Arthur brags for half of it and the other half is an out-of-place parody of The Odyssey. After reading The Odyssey, it makes more sense, but it still wasn't that good.
  5. The Lousy Week. Lousy is one way to describe this episode. It's gross and dull. My other choice was Sleep No More. The concept of a pizza land was really cool and they could have done a lot with it. Buster sits in a generic hotel room the whole time!
  6. For Whom the Bell Tolls. It’s a real shame that Rhyme for Your Life got paired with this. This episode right here is my second least favorite, right below Cast Away. Arthur is rude and inconsiderate, Jane is ignorant, and why was D.W. faking anyways? Was she even faking? Francine was right, Arthur was “M-E-A-N, mean!”
  7. Cast Away. Another "D.W. messes everything up and it's not funny" episode. I skip this one when re-watching Season 7. The only good thing is that Arthur, D.W, and David end up seeing the whale, which saves this from being the second-worst.
  8. Arthur's Snow Biz. You know what's not original, funny, or entertaining? The generic "I'm not your friend anymore" episode. It's just about Arthur and Buster trying to make more money than each other, which doesn't really make much sense.
  9. Arthur Weighs In. I get that they wanted to do a healthy eating moral, but this doesn't make sense. We've seen Arthur playing soccer, playing football, swimming, and he has even run a 5k race before this episode!
  10. Arthur Changes Gears. Would you like it if I insisted that "I'd Rather Read It Myself is NOT just an episode. I'd Rather Read It Myself an eleven minute stream of pure hilarity, creativity, and greatness. No other eleven minutes are as great as I'd Rather Read It Myself," and told you that every time you even mentioned I'd Rather Read It Myself? Replace "I'd Rather Read It Myself" with "GX Trailblazer 10,000" and you get this episode.
  11. Buster Gets Real. Like Arthur and D.W. Clean Up, I don't get why this episode exists. It introduces a completely random, non-sticking character trait to Buster. Buster Isn't Buying It would eventually do this plot better.
  12. Ungifted's plot is all over the place. First, Buster builds a model and gifts it to Arthur. Arthur trades it away to Binky for a poster. He shows the poster to Buster, and Buster feels offended because Arthur was inconsiderate, and wonders if Arthur gave all his other gifts away. Then Arthur tries to find something to give Buster, because he feels bad about trading the model. D.W. tells Arthur that he should give Buster the poster, but Arthur says the wrong thing and Buster gets angry again. It turns out that Buster built the model because his uncle is coming over and wants to see it. Now Arthur is running all over town, trying to recover the model. It gets destroyed, he rebuilds it, and then he and Buster go to buy a different model. The plot isn't put together very well.
  13. No Acting, Please. I don't hate this one, but it's definitely the weakest of the season. It's boring and unmemorable.
  14. Pet Projects. I think the key to a good "animal talk" episode is to have multiple characters. The ones that feature returning characters like Amigo, Mei Lin, Killer, or even new ones like Mr. Toad and Dr. Yowl tend to be the better ones of the group. Pet Projects is just Pal and Nemo making fun of each other, and Arthur and Francine's parts aren't that good.
  15. The Trouble with Trophies, for similar reasons to No Acting, Please.
