"The Tattletale Frog" is the first half of the first episode in the eighteenth season of Arthur.
Summary
When Bud is blamed for an accident D.W. causes, she has to decide whether to let her friend take the fall.[3]
Plot
Bud continuously wins against D.W., so she suggests a game called Throw the Hat, in which she accidentally breaks Dad's Froggy. So D.W. tries to hide it, and found a hiding place in the cabinet. When D.W. got back to her room, Bud suggests getting his hat down. D.W. tries, but with no success. D.W. and Bud try to get a ladder upstairs, but they were caught by Dad. He tried to scold D.W., but was interrupted by somewhere. Then D.W. sees Mom and tries to distract her, but Mom caught her. D.W. showed her the mess and manages to cover it up. But then she felt guilty and confessed. Later, she called Bud to tell her she's staying home for a week. Bud understands and they play rock-paper-scissors with D.W. winning as the episode ends.
