Plot
At the beginning of the show, Arthur is seen talking about a new refrigerator when D.W. tells him to come and look at something. When Arthur says that he sees an average box, D.W. says that she sees an elevator, a mobile home for birds, a motorboat, a submarine, and more. After the title card Read and Flumbergast, dad and Arthur are seen helping D.W. make her own office. While D.W is playing with Nadine, Arthur walks in with Bud, who asks D.W. if he can borrow some fingerpaint but, D.W. objects and instead, welcome Bud to Read and Flumberghast, which reveals that Nadine's last name is Flumberghast. So then, Bud asks D.W. to get his cupcake back because he thinks that Tommy stole his red icing cupcake. Then, Bud and D.W. went to Tommy's house, but Tommy says that Bud is not being truthful and that Timmy is his lawyer. Since D.W. doesn't understand what a lawyer is, she went to Ladonna and she told D.W. what it is. So then D.W. asked and convinced Arthur to make a trial.
