Behind the scenes[edit]
Agatha Christie is the creator of the fictional detective Hercule Poirot, which is the inspiration for Fern's character Virgule Watteau. She is also the creator of Miss Marple, which may be the inspiration of Mrs. Marbles' Handbook For Young Detectives.
