Buster uses a video camera to document his travels and create fun videos. It is a digital camcorder with a fold-out monitor and several video functions. In some episodes, it uses traditional tapes.

Buster's mother, Bitzi, originally gifts the camera to Buster before his trip to New York City in the episode "Postcards from Buster." He also brings his camera on his worldwide trip with his father, Bo, which takes place during the latter part of Season 2. The camera is prominently featured throughout each episode of the spinoff series, Postcards from Buster.

In addition to creating video postcards about his travels, he also uses the camcorder to make other videos with his friends. For example, in "The Making of Arthur," he creates a home video with Arthur. In "Flaw and Order," Buster lends the camera to D.W.
