"More!" is the second-half of the seventh episode Season 6 It first aired on November 5th, 2001. This episode deals with having an allowance. The episode aired with The Boy with His Head in the Clouds.

Summary

D.W. is excited to be getting an allowance, but is discontent once she learns that Emily and the Tibbles have already been getting allowance and have more money.

Plot

Arthur is talking about how D.W. can't stand things not being equal. He then tells about the time where she got really crazy when she was at Emily's house.

More!

The episode? begins with D.W. playing at Emily's house.? D.W. is jealous of Emily because she has a French? nanny who cleans her room for her and gives her cookies and milk.? When she gets home, D.W.? wants a French nanny too and goes straight to her room.? She and Nadine come up with a list of reasons why D.W. should have a French nanny.? At dinner, D.W. is about to ask her parents for a French nanny like Emily, but is interrupted.? D.W. fantasizes that? her? parents give her a French nanny, but? D.W.'s parents tell her that she is getting an allowance of 75 cents a week.? D.W. has another fantasy that D.W. becomes super rich with her allowance and she buys a lot of toys, half for her and half for? Emily.? At preschool the next day, D.W. brags to Emily about how she gets a 75 cent allowance, but Emily gets a dollar of allowance.? She then asks the Tibble Twins about their allowances, and they say that they have a bank account and show her the bank account book.? D.W. is now very jealous, and? after school during dinner, D.W. gives her parents a bill showing them how much money they should have gave her if? they started an allowance when Emily did.? D.W. gets sent to her room and begins to cry herelf to sleep.? She then dreams? that her friends won't like her anymore because? she doesn't have as much money as them.? D.W? thinks she can get more money by being? "responsible" by helping around the house.? But? when she asks abut moere allowance her mom gets mad.? At preschool that day D.W. thinks that everyone has more money than her and wants to go home.? After school, Arthur, Buster, Francine, and Muffy are watching? Dark Bunny when D.W. asks them how much allowance they get because she wants to know how they stay friends even when getting different allowances.? After learning that their amounts are different, they start to argue and get in a fight.? Arthur is mad at D.W. for making his friends fight with each other.? D.W. then calls the Mayor asking for a law that every kid gets the same allowance.? The next day at preschool, D.W. decides to trick the kids into thinking she's rich.? D.W. walks in and acts like a princess, even paying the Tibble Twins to do things for her (with play money.)? When Miss Morgan asks for the kids to give her money for their milk, D.W offers to buy the whole class milk.? But when she realizes it's only play money she ends up embarrasing herself in front of the whole class.? At naptime, D.W. is mad at Emily.? But D.W. realizes that people can still be friends no matter how much their allowances are and to be happy with what she has.

  • Toward the beginning of this episode, before D.W. Gets her allowance, we see an overhead shot of the Read's table. You may notice that Brain is sitting at the table in that one shot instead of David!
