Kiss and Tell is the eighteenth episode of Season 8, which aired on December 25, 2003 along with Flea to Be You and Me.

Summary

Emily tells D.W. how she felt when a boy kissed her on vacation, and D.W. begins to wonder what it feels like. When James kisses her, though, she realizes that she may be too young to fully appreciate it, and Emily told D.W. that it was a kiss on the hand.

Plot

Emily tells D.W. about her trip to France and how her friend, Pierre, kissed her. D.W. soon wants to know it feels like to be kissed by a boy. She then starts going after one of her classmates James. After many attempts of trying to get him to kiss her one day at school during lunch she slips and falls. She demands to know why James won't kiss her and before D.W. can say any more, James kisses her on the cheek. D.W. is in disbelief as James goes back to finishing his snack. Emily tells D.W. that Pierre only kissed her on the hand and offers D.W. her new hat, but D.W. declines and asks the Tibble Twins if they want to go swimming, but they run away from her becuase they are afraid that she wants to kiss them.

D.W.: (leaning over the rail) YO ROMEO, I HAVEN'T GOT ALL DAY Y'KNOW!!

-man climbs up a vine after many attempts and lands on the balcony-

D.W.: Hey, you're not Romeo!"

Man: Well you're not Rapunzel? Huh... must have the wrong balcony. Sorry."

D.W. (To James, who isn't paying attention): "Oh, you wouldn't believe the run at the sugar market!"

D.W. (After she puts on fake glasses with an orange nose attached to them, and a boa, she walks up to James) "Hello! How do you do?! I am, uh...Nora! But you can just call me 'N'..." (holds out her hand flirtaciously to James)

James: (ignoring her hand) "Oh, no! Is it 'show and tell' today?! I forgot! I'd better call my mom..." (walks away from D.W.)
