"D.W. Flips" is the second half of the sixteenth episode of season 1 of the animated children's series Arthur. It originally aired on January 6th, 1997.
Summary
D.W. wants to take gymnastics class after seeing a gymnast on TV, but her mom gives several examples of D.W. never finishing what she wants to do. She gets her way and goes to her first class. Emily is there and D.W. doesn't like her because she seems to do everything perfectly. D.W. is determined to be better than her and ends up making a new friend.

Goofs
- When D.W. is cartwheeling in Aisle 7 she bumps into something and the items are rolling in Aisle 8.
- On the drive home D.W. was sitting in the front seat. She's too young; she has to be at least 12 or 13 years old to sit in the front.
- Tommy and Timmy were colored lighter in some scenes.
- In one scene,one girl was colored purple.
