Arthur's great-uncle was the great-uncle of Arthur Read. Arthur learned about him and two other "uncles"[sic] while researching about his family for a class project.
Behind the scenes
He is not one of the three brothers of Grandma Thora, as evidenced by his cheese shop containing "Read" in its name. He is instead the brother of Thora's husband.
