Ohio is one of the states in the United States. Arthur Read had a number of cousins who lived in Ohio, prompting his friends to exclaim, "Ooh, Ohio!" when he mentioned that they were coming for his birthday party.
Arthur creator/author Marc Brown attended the Cleveland Institute of Art and Case Western Reserve University in Ohio and serves on the Cleveland Institute of Art's board of trustees.[1]
