Florida is the 27th state in the United States of America. It is the southeasternmost state in the United States, and is bordered by the states of Georgia to its north and Alabama to its northwest. It shares sea borders with the countries of the Bahamas to the east, and Cuba to its south.

Florida has been referenced multiple times throughout the Arthur franchise:

• In Postcards From Buster, Buster visits Miami, Florida in "Homes Sweet Homes" and Cocoa Beach, Florida in "Riding the Wave."
• In the book Arthur's Classroom Fib, it is mentioned that over the summer, Binky visited Disney World, which is in Orlando, Florida.
