Art Garfunkel is a famous singer and musician.
In The Ballad of Buster Baxter he sings short songs recounting Buster's life and the episode's plot. He starts as a pure narrator, but over the course of the episode he begins to interact with the other characters.
Art Garfunkel's character is not named on the show, but is referred to as a singing moose. The moose does resemble Garfunkel's human self.
At the movie theater, his head was blocking D.W.'s view.[1]
Muffy invited him and other celebrities to watch the play, Oh, Elwood!.[2]
As a child, David Read had a poster of Art Garfunkel in his room.[3]
