Arthur says that the nicest people can lose control sometimes. Arthur then presents the Brain as an example. Brain was playing pinball while Francine was complaining, when Buster came out and tripped on the cord, unplugging the game. Brain was furious at Buster and started chasing him.


D.W. tells her [[Jane Read|mom]] that they are having a swim meet and wants to win it. At the public pool, [[Arthur Read|Arthur]] and D.W. are there and they see James with his older sister, [[Molly MacDonald|Molly]]. Early in the morning, Arthur wakes D.W. up to start practicing. At the public pool, Arthur is busy waiting for D.W. to get dressed into the swimsuit and Molly appears and she and Arthur act surprised to each other there early in the morning.

When D.W. and James finally come out after dressing in their swimsuits they are wearing almost identical swimsuits. When they try swimming in their swimsuits, they sink to the bottom and Arthur and Molly have to rescue them.

"D.W. Swims with the Fishes" is the second half of the sixth episode in the thirteenth season of Arthur.

Summary

D.W. and James enter the preschool swim meet and recruit their older siblings to coach them. It all goes well until Arthur and Molly begin to get more competitive than D.W. and James.

Plot
