Summary
Binky's baby sister Mei-Lin isn't keen on learning to walk and would rather stick to crawling.
Plot
At the beginning of the episode, Baby Kate and Mei Lin are shown arguing about walking o two feet. Mei Lin is very against this and says it is being a traitor to babies. Later in the Read's house, Kate tries to convince Mei Lin to stand however Mei Lin doesn't want to. Arthur and Binky are discissing the babies walking, although obviously cannot understand their conversation.
Pepe, Pal's flea, then goes on to tell the babies and Pal a story. The story is suppose to portray Mei Lin not walking. (It features a princess, dog and cat) The princess in the story finds walking on two legs a silly thing and doesn't walk herself. The Cat then freezes the dog who walks to entertain Mei Lin. The Princess crawls along the desert to find a cure. She finds a Doctor (Kate) who tells Mei Lin of a tree that can help, So Mei Lin sails to it.
A Sea Monster (Arthur) attacks the boat and Mei Lin must row to saftey to the island. When there, Mei Lin climbs the montain to the tree, and gets the magic fruit. Pepe then announces it is the end of the story. However he then remembers to tell them a stalk grabs Mei Lin and carries her back to the Kingdom. However the Princess could not reach to feed the Dod the fruit. She has to stand, and oes so with ease and the Dog comes back to life. The princess loves standing and teaches the whole Kingdom how to, then it is the end.
Kate then tries to get Mei Lin to stand, but it is time for Mei Lin to leave. When in her cot, Mei Lin finally stands for the first time.
