Arthur's Nose is the first book in the Arthur Adventure series. It was written and illustrated by Marc Brown and published by Little, Brown and Company in 1976. In 2001, a 25th Anniversary Limited Edition of this book was published to celebrate the series' 25th anniversary, and also featured a timeline of the changes in the character designs and the people whom Marc Brown inspired the characters after (ie. D.W. modeled after Kim Brown and Grandma Thora modeled after his grandmother with the same name).

Plot

Arthur is made fun of because of his nose, he considers plastic surgery.

Trivia

  • There are animals that never been seen in the later books and series (e.g a Zebra). Also in later books and series, Arthur is more human like, and this book eventually hardly had anything to do with the series' continuities.
