Brother, Can You Spare A Clarinet? is the second half of the 4th episode of Season 6. It first aired on October 15, 2001 with "Muffy's Soccer Shocker".
Summary
The Young Person's Orchestra is going to hold tryouts at Lakewood Elementary. Everyone in the band thinks Binky is the best, but he is discouraged because of his old, broken clarinet. Binky starts a scheme with the rest of the Tough Customers to get rid of music, thinking that if he can't enjoy music, no one can.

- Arthur mentions that his birthday isn't for another 7 months, meaning this happened in October. It also means school just started very recently. However, the opening sequence could have been set on a different date than the episode.
