Emily tells D.W. how she felt when a boy kissed her on vacation, and D.W. begins to wonder what it feels like. When James kisses her, though, she realizes that she may be too young to fully appreciate it. Afterwards, Emily tells D.W. that the kiss she had received while on vacation had been a kiss on the hand.

Summary

Back from a trip to France, Emily tells D.W. that a friend named Pierre kissed her, and she felt like a princess. Wanting to be a princess too, D.W. tries to get a boy to kiss her. However, James doesn't seem to understand what she is doing.
