The Bear Lake Lifeguard is an unnamed lifeguard of Bear Lake. She was introduced in D.W. All Wet, but has rarely appeared since, and returned in a few episodes such as The Shore Thing and Swept Away.

Appearance and Personality

The lifeguard of Bear Lake is a brown dog with short dark brown hair with bangs and wears a cream-colored maillot with gray accents, a pair of red shorts with yellow accents, beach sandals, and a red lanyard with a silver whistle.

She is very strict and is often easily angered when kids are being defiant (such as when Buster forgets or refuses to wear the bathing cap his mom sent by messenger) and when people horseplay (such as Arthur and his friends joking around about octopuses that D.W. fears). She is also assistive of kids who live in fear.
