The Treat Timer is a voice-activated dog biscuit dispenser that was featured in Arthur's TV Trouble. It was said to have cost $19.95. Arthur wanted to buy it for his pet dog, Pal, and went to great lengths to raise the money to buy one. However, it malfunctioned often, and shot dog biscuit treats over the house, and also sent Pal into a fright.
All sales for the toy were final, so Arthur was unable to get his money back.
It was shortly thereafter thrown into the garbage by the Reads, as the Timer is shown among the trash in the front of their house.
