"Rugrats parody" is not an official name.

A parody of Rugrats is watched by the Reads in the opening to "The Secret Life of Dogs and Babies." Kate does not like the show because she considers it unrealistic, saying "If my playpen were that easy to escape from, I’d be in Paris by now. And where are the parents?" She switches the channel to Vidiboobies.

Plot[edit]

A mean toddler Veronica (based on Angelica Pickles) plans to make the babies eat lima beans. The babies escape from their playpen using a tower of alphabet blocks and a board. Buckie instead suggests using a key to unlock the door and leave. The babies then ride on a dog and leave the room.

Trivia[edit]

  • Kate's comment about "be[ing] in Paris by now" references the second Rugrats movie, Rugrats in Paris.
  • Kate pointing out the logical flaws of a parody is similar to Arthur and his friends watching "Andy and Company" in "The Contest."
