Mrs. Grouse is a babysitter of Arthur and D.W.. Arthur disliked her because she made him and D.W. dance, but D.W. liked Mrs. Grouse, saying that she smelled nice. One time when she was unavailable, Arthur's parents hired Sally MacGill instead. Mrs. Grouse babysat them again the next time.
