Kevin Blythe Sampson is an American artist.

Born 1954 in New Jersey, Kevin Sampson worked for many years as a police officer, doing composite sketches among other things. In 1993 he attended art school and became a full time artist.

Kevin Sampson makes sculptures from found objects. He uses art as a way to deal with the death of his wife and child.

Kevin Sampson appears as himself in “George Scraps his Sculpture”, where he helps George to get inspiration. Several of his sculptures are seen on the show (Mother Oatman, The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Red Stripe, The Golden Spike, The Kron-Printzen, USS Mr. Imagination, Papa Midnight and Venezia-African Jack).
