Julie Lemieux
Julie Lemieux is the voice actor for both Bud Compson and Mrs. Compson. Lemieux also provided the voice for Kara, a character in a soap opera, in the seventh season of Arthur, though at the time she went uncredited for her role. The same scene was later reused in the premiere of the sixteenth season, at which time the characters of Bud and Mrs. Compson were introduced.
Lemieux is a prolific voice actress from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, whose work includes the voice of Louise on Nick Jr.'s Max & Ruby, Soak on Keroppi & Friends, Michael and Mail Carrier Kelly on Little People, Coochie and Coo on Rolie Polie Olie: The Baby Bot Chase, the title character on the Discovery Kids educational series Wilbur, the Nelvana classic Rupert, and Funshine Bear in Care Bears: Journey to Joke-a-Lot and its follow-up The Care Bears Big Wish Movie, and also the voice of Josse and Kelly in the spin off series called Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race.
