Deep, Dark Sea
Deep, Dark Sea is a computer game that appears in "Arthur the Wrecker".
Arthur borrows the game from Brain. He explains to D.W. that, in order to win the game, you have to find a "thing" and that "Buster says his cousin's friend's brother found it, and that the game gave him a number to call, and he won a lot of stuff" but he had to swear in blood never to tell what he found.
On Saturday, after he is told by his mother not to go on the computer, Arthur plays the game anyway with Buster. They find a treasure chest and believe the "thing" is inside but they both reach for the mouse and knock the keyboard off the desk, causing the computer screen to go blank.
In Arthur's Computer Adventure, a PC game by Living Books, readers can play Deep, Dark Sea for themselves.
In the episode, Arthur does not make it to the end of the game, as his mom is trying to finish the game.
The game has a cameo in the intro to "Francine Frensky, Olympic Rider"; Buster imagines himself playing a game with similar graphics, shooting at jellyfish.
