D.W. Read: (blows whistle)

Arthur Read: Agh!

D.W.: Arthur, quick! Wake up! It's time for school!

Arthur: Oh, she does that about once a month, always on a Saturday. Ahhhh...a brand-new day. But what if it wasn't a new day?! What if every day of your life was exactly the same? You could get stuck in a really bad day, like that day we went to Mary Moo Cow on Ice.

(Flashback)

Arthur: Dad, you said we could go to the grand opening of the new Bionic Bunny store.

D.W.: But you told me that we'd see Mary's ice ???!

Dad: Well, we can't do both. We'll just have to flip a coin.

Arthur: Heads!

D.W.: Tails!

Dad: Sorry, Arthur.

D.W.: YYYYYYESSSSS!

Arthur: (Kate spit on his food) Agh! (voice-over) And now matter what you did, the same thing kept happening over and over again.

Dad: We'll just have to flip a coin.

Arthur: Heads!

D.W.: Tails!

Dad: Sorry, Arthur.

D.W.: Yes!

(back in Arthur's room)

Arthur: (yawns) Oh, boy. Good thing that'll never happen.

(whistle blows)

Arthur: Agh! D.W.!

THE WORLD OF TOMORROW

Written by: Peter Egan—Storyboard by: Robert Yap

Francine Frensky: (V.O.) The World of Tomorrow.

(in Nigel Ratburn's classroom)

Ratburn: Remember, class, this Friday is our sleepover field trip to the museum of science. Raise your hand if your parents have signed your permission form. (almost every kid in the class raises their hand, but Binky doesn't.) Binky, if you don't bring in your signed permission form tomorrow, I'm afraid you won't be able to join us for the field trip.

Binky Barnes: Is that a promise?

Arthur: What's the matter? Don't you want to go to the museum?

Binky: No. I did this exact same field trip last year. It was just one boring science exhibit after another!

At the museum.

Buster: Wow! This is so cool! Did they have this exhibit here last year?

Binky: That’s the coat room, doofus.

#[edit]

Binky falls asleep in a landing craft and is woken (he’s actually dreaming) by a Buster lookalike.

Thruster: And who’s Buster? My name is Thruster.

Binky: Yeah, and my name’s Engelbert Humperdinck.

Thruster: Hi, Engelbert. Are you part of the exhibit?

#[edit]

Thruster: How can this be the world of tomorrow? This landing craft is two-hundred years old.

Binky: Then what’s the date?

Thruster: March tenth twenty-two-o-three, of course.

Binky: You mean I’ve been asleep for two hundred years? Ha, no wonder I feel so refreshed.

Binky is woken by the real Buster.

Buster: Wake up! Wake up!

Binky: Thruster! It’s you! Where’s Mr. Rocketburn.

Buster: Who?

Binky: You know, Mr. Ratburn, but he’s a robot.

Buster: Mr. Ratburn is a robot? I knew it!

Binky: Wait a minute. Where’s your robot suit.

Buster: Em, I do have robot pajamas, but they’re in the wash, so I had to wear the cowboy ones.
