The Secret Life of Dogs and Babies is the second half of the 3rd episode of Season 6. It first aired with on October 8, 2001 along with Prunella's Special Edition.
Summary
Kate and Pal can understand each other, but older people like the rest of the Read family can't. When Mr. Read can't find the figurine that goes on top of the wedding cake he made, Kate and Pal work together to get the figurine on top of the cake before it gets to the wedding ceremony.

Trivia
- In the beginning of this episode, there are spoofs of the "Rugrats" and "Teletubbies". Kate even mentions the Baby Sun from the Teletubbies.
- This is the first episode that Kate, Pal and Nemo are able to talk. They will start talking again in some other episodes.
- Oddly, Pal and Nemo are enemies here, when they were friends in Francine and the Feline
